A huge thank you to Suffolk Construction for welcoming our students for tours of the Northeastern University science and laboratory building site on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We started at the top of the building and worked our way down, seeing the stages of construction in real time. We learned a lot! Special shout out to ACE Mentor Mikayla Filippone, Assistant Project Manager at Suffolk, for arranging the tours.

Giving Tuesday 2021

Board President Tom Aldrich of DPR Construction and Board Member Ray Houle of New England Finish join our ED Jen Fries to accept the generous National Gypsum donation.

On November 30, 2021, Giving Tuesday, National Gypsum made an amazing $35,000 donation to the ACE Mentor Program of Greater Boston, on the recommendation of the Portsmouth Gold Bond plant. A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible, especially Ray Houle of New England Finish, who insists on using Gold Bond products in his builds, and to Tony Visconti and James Bennett of National Gypsum. We are so grateful for your support, and we loved the tour, where we saw the product being engineered and manufactured.
